We have a link set up from our website to our facebook page. There are some wonderful pictures of rescues and releases that the group was part of. If you do a Nature World Wildlife Rescue search, you will find us that way as of now. Enjoy the pictures, the group has some silly stuff happening as well as heartbreaking.

Nature World is starting a Friends group to help support the wildlife and their care here in Citrus County. If you are interested in becoming a Friend and taking advantage of the tax donation afforded by our non-profit status, contact Shirley Dube @ 352-382-2211 or e-mail shirleydube@tampabay.rr.com. I have a form to fill out and have a couple of different ways to donate. Monthly or Yearly with a minimum of $50.00, will give you a bio of one of our 3 educational birds and a choice of a T-Shirt. Children can also adopt a bird for $10.00 and will be given a picture of that bird and bio.
Please, also think about putting us in your will. Instead of flowers being sent to a funeral home, just think of the food and medical supplies we could purchase.
How you can help our rescue group
We are strictly a volunteer organization. We are always looking for more people willing to help and would be pleased to welcome you as a member.
Our meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm in the Florida room at Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park.
We do not charge membership fees or receive funds from any governmental agency therefore we depend solely on donations from concerned individuals and groups. We can also use donated materials and/or services for building cages, airline pet carriers for transporting animals, bedding, food of various types, and just about anything.
